My name is Heather, and I am so grateful to be here with all of you.
A little over a decade ago I learned that someone is diagnosed with the
devastating effects of MS every hour of every day. My hour came on July
9th 2003 at 2pm. Since that moment I worked for a drug company
speaking on’ living well with MS’ for two years, continued working and
driving to my current state of almost two years in a wheelchair living
with my parents. I have had CCSVI twice and most recently a surgically
implanted Baclofen pump.
After two spinal taps
and finally a brain biopsy I was diagnosed with MS. After a few crazy
diagnoses I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Tim Vollmer who remained
my doctor for the next five years. Since that day I have struggled to
keep MS…my sanity that is, and to keep MS as MS…a minor setback. I am
so grateful for this web site of which we can all collect and share
information. Luckily for all of us we have the greatest angel on our
side, The Publisher of The MS NewsChannel. Thanks Stan!
